It is general knowledge that Queensland and indeed Australia is the Skin Cancer capital of the world. With or without family history of skin cancer such as Melanoma, Basal Cell Carcinoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma it is wise to have regular surveillance checks so that any of these skin cancers can be detected and dealt with early.
We suggest annual skin check for the not so affected individuals and 3 – 6 monthly checks for those with prior history and as required in between.

Our doctors are very experienced in surgical and non-surgical skin cancer treatments with satisfactory cosmetic result as a goal.
We are in collaboration with other local Practices to provide fee-for-service After Hours emergency service at the Mater Mackay Emergency Care Centre on 4965 5444. Emergencies are attended by the Mackay Base Hospital (4885 6000) at no charge for current Medicare card holders.
